"Reading and flipping through the novellas gave me a youth-revisited kind of pleasure once more. WOW! I did have fun with cut-up cardboard dolls when I was growing up, although I lived way across the planet where Hegi lived. I did felt a big lump in my throat as I was reading the last chapter.
“I slept under her heart.” [12] This image or symbol, represents faith at its finest. Her mother was desperately frantic that the fetus inside her was hardly moving for the last three days in the hospital’s delivery wing. Baby Hanna fell asleep in her mother’s womb prior to the birthing and was considered dead by the attending nun. Her mother insisted she’s alive. Therefore, Hanna lived.
I am Pilipino American and an undergrad in College of Southern NV."
