"This is a lovely, light romance spanning 30 years and the lives of two different families. The gardener who helped the previous owner create her garden has now returned to repair it and restore it to it's previous glory. As the garden is restored, the families find themselves touched by the gardener, their own lives cultivated and repaired along with the garden."

"An enigmatic Frenchman plays the center role in this engaging love story. After deciding a true but forbidden love must ultimately end, the French gardener returns years later in seach of his soul mate. The lovely English home has been taken over by an new family, and he is again employed as a gardener to this family. A new love ensues and the two stories intertwine and parallel. The Frenchman finally learns the fate of his lost love but in its tracks leaves wisdom and spirit for the new family. Decidely "chic lit", it will be sure to provide plenty of fodder for a ladies book club."
