"This is apparently the first in a series the author intends to write. It was a fine read, the storyis told by a female wolf. I think it would be better for the 10-15 age group. The beginning might disturb younger readers, but the rest of the book is good for kids. i enjoyed reading it but would not be likely to read another in the series."
