Et tu, Christopher?

"I agree that Christopher sold his sister out, yet it's obvious from her behavior that Madonna is a borderline (get it?) sociopath who has sold everyone out in her selfish pursuit of ultimate fame. If he wishes to tell his side and profit in the process, then Bravo! Madonna's own business and relationship ethics are certainly not beyond reproach. This book isn't merely the ranting of a dejected loser, but rather an honest and engaging examination of one of the most famous women in the world from a smart man who was extremely close to her throughout her life. Christopher's design and artistic talents shine on their own. His writing is witty, poignant and fun. Any long time Madonna fan will enjoy it. I spent $300 seeing her in concert, and probably had more fun reading this $30 book."

"I was crucified for buying this book as my fellow Madonna lovers did not want to lend support or profit gain to Christopher for what they viewed the ultimate betrayal of blood. I have been a fan since the beginning. Madonna's vision, drive, longevity, determination and the lengths she would go to has always been impressive and second to none. Although I do acknowledge Christopher's need for catharsis in writing this; I do feel that this might be the last nail in the coffin for him. As a brother, son and uncle to several people that will be hurt by this selfish act, dollar signs would not have motivated me to something that will haunt me and sever ties for years to come."
