"Sounds like a rediculous concept, it'd be much easier to relate to if the story revolved around a homemaker/housewife/mother instead of an unrelatable superwoman. Honestly, a Harvard-academic-careerist etc-Just another feminist stereotype. These types of characters are really destructive rollmodels."

"Alzheimers. The word is frightening not unlike CANCER. But so little is actually known about it: the physicians and researchers have yet to conquer the disease, and the public knows so little about it. Lisa Genova in STILL ALICE puts a face on this frightening diagnosis. The author's background offers a unique perspective on what it must be like to live with Alzheimers and to care for an Alzheimer patient. This fast and interesting read is a real eye opener."
